The student must first discuss the matter with the teacher/marker. This is to be done as soon as the task has been handed back. If the issue is not resolved, the student should notify the teacher/marker that he or she wishes to appeal the mark with the relevant Curriculum Coordinator. If the teacher / marker is also the relevant KLA Coordinator, the student should go directly to the Assistant Principal (Curriculum).
The student must bring his or her concerns to the relevant Curriculum Coordinator within 3 school days of the task being handed back. If the issue is not resolved, the student must complete an Assessment Appeal form and submit this to the Assistant Principal (Curriculum) within one week of the task being handed back.
The student will be invited to meet with the Appeals Panel to explain his / her case.
